Today I was sent a video from a client, who came to me for help!!
Their daughter was struggling to ride. The parents were getting a little frustrated as per norm, their daughter wasn’t listening them!! I booked her in for two 45min sessions. The first was assessing how she was riding and then using a balance bike to building her confidence and encourage gliding (lifting the feet), I moved on to her pedal bike. With a little support, I gradually began to let her go! A few meters her and there, she began to ride unsupported. The 2nd session, I began her on the balance bike as a tool for familiarisation and soon moved on to her pedal bike, she was amazing, riding each time a little further unsupported! Well done!
Bikeability Courses
I will be running Bikeability Learn to Ride, Level 1 and Level 3 from Ivybridge Community College over the Easter holidays. These courses can be booked online from http://www.cyclepssp.co.uk. Other course available in Plymouth and Tavistock.
